The Steps to Happiness with Independent Filmmaker Jeremy Norrie

Have you ever wondered what someone else's key to happiness and success are?

I have that answer!
Every story has a beginning and evolution, and Jeremy Norrie’s story is no exception. From a young age, life experiences pointed him in one direction, and life had it’s fair share of twists and turns. He is an independent film maker who takes on projects of interest but also social impact.
He shared his story of personal struggle, and how he laid out several steps [over time] to create a more sustainable, mindful way of living.
This conversation is a great tie in from several of our past episodes, including categories of time, mindfulness, gratitude, nature, positive self talk, etc.

I think at times we have to take the scenic way through life or hit nearly rock bottom, not ideally but such is life, to appreciate the small things. I would also hope Jeremy would find some sort of inspiration and consider to do a film on healthcare, or at least look at the real life of a physician. It isn’t all Mercedes, yachts, and money. It’s more like sleep deprivation, angst we as physicians carry regarding our patients, gastritis from too much coffee, when was the last time I ate, and oh yeah….getting harassed because someone looked up their symptoms on WebMD and didn’t receive an antibiotic for what is more fitting of a viral infection….long live patient satisfaction!
